Circumstantially Unable To Be Lovers

Rating: 5.0

I will always be your friend.
As long as you will let me.
But is our friendship just to disguise our true
feelings?

Of course it is.

In love, yet, circumstantially unable to be lovers,
we settle for friendship.
No one will buy it.
Least of all us...

A sad story my friend! Yet tragically true in many instances. How precious the moment should love and friendship decide to coexist!

Great poem. Unfortunately, all too common a situation in our society.
