My fears are growing - as I know
it would - you are on a trip - you
who know exactly how life should
go - while I am making it up as I
go - and tonight I don't know what
should be my guiding light
I have decided to visit family - persona
non grata - this weekend - while you
are away - but whatever I decide - the
anxiety won't go away - whether I go
or stay doesn't matter - the fear won't
go away
And acting against your principles
are causing such havoc in my mind
so all could find to say was - I wish
I could close my eyes and drift off
into eternity...
thinking of eternity can be taken as positive here...the thoughts can blow off the negative feelings..... to think of heaven is good but Earth is the right place to love and live...enjoyed reading this one too.
The presence of death is essential in this poem, as in life. Then there's a feeling that one is going to do a forbidden thing...

I would like to translate this poem
i agree with paolo it seems as if you are waiting for death to come like a person who waits for a phone call knowing it may never come
