Clothes By Art Paul Schlosser Poem by ART PAUL SCHLOSSER

Clothes By Art Paul Schlosser

Who you trying to impress
Wearing that pinstripe suite or that rainbow color dress
It takes more than clothes to make the person
A real friend not only dresses nice or has fun
But they are there when no one else can come

Just cause you have silver buttons or a gold pair of pants
Doesn't make you the coolest Uncle or Aunt
You've got to have kindness when you're trying to be cool
Or they'll see right through your clothes and know you are a fool
And no one wants to be with a mean chick or a hot looking mean dude

Sloppy clothes don't always wreck the date
Consideration is better than lots of cash on the plate
I'm sure a fancy car, fancy clothes will attract
But once you start yelling they won't you back
So when your dressing up remember to put on kindness and tact
