Cold White Poem by Faith Sample

Cold White

White,
And more white,
It was as if it was snowing,
But I knew it wasn't…
Why is it so cold here?

Is this loneliness?
Is this what my world
And my heart would have
Turned into if I…
If I never let him into my life,
My heart, as well as
My very soul itself?

I shiver,
And fall to my knees
I would have turned cold
My heart; stone
My very world; frozen

The cold starts to effect me…
It felt as if my heart was
Beginning to freeze…
It hurts; my heart
I thought surely I was going to pass out from the pain
I look around me,
Everything was a cold white…

Dear girl: Many and many a time you will feel that way. But life really does go on. Read mine - Bloom of Youth - Adeline
