Cold Wintry Night Poem by seema somlal

Cold Wintry Night

It was a cold wintery night.....alone...just my dreams and me....

The sun was out, the skies danced with white clouds
The birds sang their musical hearts out
The trees swayed with every note
The waters were still and the rays of the sun beamed across....
I looked up from where i was sitting and a shadow covered my whole being
A stale smell of musk lingered above my nose
His eyes bore into my breasts and I could feel my heart skip a beat
His steely hands reached out to me and I gracefully placed my trembling fingers in his
I could hear my own heart beat and feel the sweat trinkle down my spine
He gently pulled me closer and whispered in my ears....

I heard the trees bang against my window
And all was left was just the cold wintry night and me alone.....
