Collected Memories Poem by Sandra Black

Collected Memories

The dream collects memories
And weaves them together
A wispy tale of yarns
A spidery cobweb of ideas
All spun together
In gossamer silk of hope

The dream takes you
On a flight of fantasy
From where you never want to go
A bedtime tale
Amidst sips of ale
It's something never to forego

So dream on
With eyes wide open
Dream with eyes shut tight
When its time
It will be just right
And the perfect surprise
