Colorful Emotions Poem by Fiona Sunny

Colorful Emotions

When I was the innocence of my cradle
In the moon's ray through the finest glass
Who would promise peace as pure as white
Other than my parents whose words never pass?

When I was the bud of my plant
In the spring's best, relishing comforts
Who would donate blood as passionate as red
Other than my parents whose sweat supports?

When I was the petal of my flower
In the Sun's smile, sharing glory
Who could gift clothes as royal as scarlet
Other than my parents who complete my story?

When I was the flake of my snow
In the cloud's fury, bearing its cold
Who would flow tears as rich as gold
Other than my parents who never wish to scold?

As long as I am, was and will be in this world
In the ranging worldly torturing designs
Who could give life as devoted as the silver stars
Other than my parents who understand my signs?

glory: success
story: life
designs: situations
signs: gestures
