Colors Poem by Jeffrey Clark

Colors

The sky as blue as your eyes
Has now lost its color
And the sun, as yellow as your hair
Has now turned to gray
The days have turned into weeks
No, into months
Since I last seen your white smile
The smile that filled my world
Full of color, full of hope
Now it is gone
And my heart, my soul
Is now the color of coal
Come back to me
So the colors of the rainbow
Fill my life once more
