Come Thou Crucified Lamb

Come thou Crucified Lamb
And draw our hearts to Thee
Where dear Lord You were lifted up
That day at Calvary
Where shame was delivered like none other
You bore it all on the Cross
While mockers railed against You relentlessly
In love You bestowed forgiveness

Love manifested in the Son
For a world that was lost in sin
Holding steadfast to the will of God
Sinless was that Son of man
And taking our guilt to the fullest degree
He died...the Just for the unjust
And offers full pardon and victory
When we place in Him our trust

Magnified be that name of Christ
That offers us such liberation
And great and greatly to be praised
Is the Author of so great Salvation
In our Fortress that is mighty
For Almighty God is He
We find a sure rest for our soul's
Hallelujah our Resurrection is He!

Come Thou Crucified Lamb
And touch our heart's afresh
By Your Spirit draw us Lord
To own Your blest worthiness
For Thou art worthy to be praised
For the price You paid for sin
Heaven's finest for earth's lowest
In Jesus's name I pray amen!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
