Come To Me Said Jesus Poem by Luke Easter

Come To Me Said Jesus

Come to me said the voice,
Whispering softly in my mind,
Be with me forever,
Eternity in time.

Share in the glory,
Of endless peace and joy,
Everyday in my house,
As children playing with toys.

I live in a place,
Where people never die,
Without sorrow or sadness,
Tears never to cry.

A timeless journey,
That never ends,
Surrounded by love,
It only begins.

On earth there are troubles,
From dawn to dusk,
It doesn’t matter how many,
There’s always just enough.

You’ll shake your head and wonder,
How could this be?
If only everyone,
Had the same thoughts as me.

Realizing there are days,
Where you could be wrong,
So turn your head,
And try to get along.

Knowing there’s only one,
Who’s always right,
He’s calling your name,
His is Jesus Christ.

Take heed to the whispers,
As they softly say,
Come with me,
To a much better place.
