There is a big party
and it never ends
The regulars who go
are family and friends

This party is dark
and full of gloom
Come on in,
there's plenty of room!

We sit we complain
about life being unfair
We piss and we moan
as much as we dare!

All who attend
share the same dark cloud
It is their friend
and they are quite proud

All attendees
are life's saddest victims
Battered and beat
no longer self fixin'

Come one, come all
bring your dark stories
We'll compare notes
and bemoan lost glories

This party it goes
on forever
and it is a rockin'
The Gov, the EX, the Boss
we're all a sockin'

Leave your smiles and pleasantries
in the car
You won't need them here,
we glamorize scar.

Come one, come all,
just come commiserate
It's never too early
it's never too late!
