Ask her
to come near
and whisper
in he ears

no hurry to embrace
but face
the question
and specially mention

"what shall you do for me? the girl may ask
"I shall take care and keep you free" must be the answer
even though I am not perfect
i shall not hesitate to act honestly

this shall create lasting impression
and this is important in relation
this shall prove what you are after!
she shall also think it safer

all bonds are holy
and you own it wholly
it is the commitment
and that is needed at present
