Conflict Poem by Garth Wesley Oatway

Conflict

Conflict, oh conflict: that volatile state of opposition.
Oh how it rears its ugly head at such unsuspecting moments.
From out of nowhere conflict arrives as the embodiment of antagonistic resistance. Now while conflict's persona rivals that of hostility, it is only befitting that conflict instigates a contrasting antithesis within others.
And just as clashing principles force a disagreeing struggle, conflict will challenge any foe to fight.
Oh what a force it is this that is conflict.
