Conflicts Unremoved

Too many clouds of the sky
make me wonder why
sunshine won't come
from its hiding place
and a broken heart
afraid to show its face
keep chasing illusions
its forever chased
and connections lost
never to be replaced
we keep begging the vivid
picture of success
but it is unmoved by the
idea of progress
