Do you realise how much you confuse me
When you smile at me like that?
Can you see just what you’re doing?
I feel such a prat!

You’re little remarks just add to me
The feelings of insecurity
But you don’t realise you’re doing it
You don’t realise at all

I’ve made my feelings crystal clear
Right from day one
I like you, I thought you liked me
But obviously I did something wrong

But now it’s too late anyway
Because you’ve got yourself a girlfriend
But is this where the story finishes
Does it really have to end?
