Jorge, you have gone and done it,
'Done what? ' ~ You ask of me,
Made your Grandparents proud of you,
By passing your GCSEs.

You did well, Dear Grandson,
Much better than I could do,
Now you go to Sixth Form College,
And may Life be good to you.

Tomorrow is your 16th Birthday,
And your Results came in good time,
So you can enjoy the day with pleasure,
And put thoughts of exams behind.

The Road to your Future is safe,
But you must knuckle down to work,
It is a pity you have to retake Maths,
A subject which drives you berserk.

You have managed to achieve your goal,
But your success is up to you,
We know you will work hard,
Supported by family who love you.
