Contemplating - On - Time
Human beings are
creatures of "time, "
and we are preoccupied
with that theme.
We wear watches
so that we can keep
account of "time."
Our music contemplates
this theme. We sing that
"time goes on, "
and at the same time
lament that "time has
stood still since we've
been apart."
What to do with time When empty is my mind Though never it is full Of anything worthwhile. So I cotemplate on time And time after time I find - Oh, my sweet darling! Only time knows how much I miss you.
We Comtemplate it because there's lack of time Good One Tony!
