Controlling Fear
Fear grips me like a vice
Cutting off my words
To tell the fear inside me
Is to face reality
This is all a game
Soon it will catch up
I will be left empty and alone
How can I trust completely?
I know I need to open up
To speak up and talk
Tell all my thoughts
All my feelings
All my fears
But no words are forming
The fear is choking me
My words fade.
