Convenient To Ignore Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Convenient To Ignore

Many become upset by facts.
And protest against the evidence,
Truth produces.
Yet can not explain,
Why when told lies...
About themselves told by others,
They are the ones who blame them...
For being people dishonest and deceiving.

A mirror can reflect a thousands faces.
When it is convenient to ignore,
The one that's most familiar...
Representing them all.
While selecting which judgement to pass,
Will be accepted to make sense.
Coming out of the mouth of a hypocrite!
