Corn Dog Anyone? Poem by Marilyn Lott

Corn Dog Anyone?

Rating: 5.0

They are crunchy on the outside
And so succulent on the inside
Deliciously juicy and flavorful
Along with extraordinary rides

For you are at the county fair
When this fun all takes place
Excitement is the key
That includes wonderful tastes

Do you need a hat, my friend?
Oh, there’s a stand just for that
A Stetson perhaps you want
Or some other kind of hat?

Elephant ears are wonderful
Cobs of corn to sink in your teeth
Ice cream on a stick as well
Don’t for get sticks with beef

So bring your entire family
Your wife, daughter and son
But the most important thing is
Want a Corn Dog anyone?
