Early morning, I get up for a walk
And my neighbor accompanies me,
I feel lucky to have a good company.
I return from walk, start my routine
And my cook serves me delicious breakfast,
I feel lucky to have an honest helper.
I come to the work place, enter my cabin
And sweeper keeps it so clean and tidy,
I feel lucky to have sincere worker.
I like to have a cup of tea, after sometime,
And my colleague joins me there,
I feel lucky to have a nice friend.
I return to home from office,
And my little boy waits for me eagerly,
I feel so lucky to have such a wonderful son.
I start feeling lonely in the evening,
And my parents, sisters, friends call me,
I feel really lucky to have a support from them.
I get upset in those cold nights,
And my dreams come to my rescue,
I feel lucky to have a sound sleep after tiring day.
I feel miserable, deserted, empty….
And my poetry shows a way out,
I feel very lucky to have listeners there.
