Coward Poem by Vember Francisco

Coward

Coward that you are
Who awaken my love
And made me put you in my heart
Who I thought a stranger from the start

A stranger before
Means the world of me now
How coward you are
Who awaken my heart but never intend to love

The sweetness of you
Blinded the eyes of me
Didn't let me see
How bitter it taste as you leave

Coward that you are
When the happiness of your hello
Is the sorrow of your goodbye
That cuts me so deep never knowing why.
