Criminals have a way

When there is a way
criminals always flourish and stay
with the patronage and shelter
they alter the political scene here
the politicians take help to usher
and stay in power
in turn, their activities go unchecked
and the role of democracy is choked
everything goes normal
when there is not much trouble from criminals
the moment they cross the limit
they meet with wrath from the authorities
you can live happily with the consent
but can't present
the challenge to the ruling authorities
and function with easy access
they meet with an unusual end
either they are sent in jail
or liquidated from the scene
after that, they are not at all seen

There is no reason to disagree with your observations in this instant reaction to the killing of a hardcore criminal near Kanpur. But the liquidation may deprive the law enforcement agencies to bring the politicians or other white-collar crooks to book who give patronage to such criminals. On the other hand, people of this country, for whom the entire system works, also have a right to know the truth. Thanks a lot.
