Guy Alan Gray

Critique - Poem by Guy Alan Gray

her mouth moved constantly boringly,

critically, inquisitively, words carefully

enunciated, shaped like black pellets

a rabbit leaves behind,

social amenities a thin veil over hostile

territory, now and then an almost wistfulness

creeping in, but to be obliterated by black

pellets dropped from lips added to the heap

of black pellets she always leaves behind,
