Crow Poem by Bob Axell

Crow

Rain on my raincoat
Paintcoated window pane
I watch the sun float
It nullifies my brain

The light devours my sight
My eyes are slowly eaten
All I see is white
When my last beat is beaten

Day softly turns to night
Shadows trade their places
My sight slowly regains
The color light erases

Birds endless sing and twitter
Slowly dies down
Neath the surface of the water
I see the fish drown

Raincoat in the rain
Pane under the paintcoated frame
I watch the sun rise
Light engulfs me in flames

Night softly turns to day
Shadows trade their places
A pillar in the meadow
The light color erases.
