Crow Trees Poem by mark lund

Crow Trees

crows in trees
testing the early morning air
waiting together
learning to share

big sycamore shakes
passing the know
from ground
to crow

a murderous bunch
the crowd of crows
an invisible signal
instantly shows

a burst of wings
and caws
away with the wind
the murder flows
