Cruel To Offer Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Cruel To Offer

Cruel to offer

Who says nature is unkind?
Always blows high speed winds
Causes cyclones and droughts
Why are we simply caught?

Not to go far
The reason is here
We have turned liar
And became lies supplier

What if one tree is cut?
What if one stream is shut?
Let the sea be filled with garbage
And lose the face or an edge

Add more and more waste
spoil the nature and alter the taste
Make it unhygienic and unusable
We are sure for inviting troubles

No we need growth
Even if at the cost of increasing deaths
Let facilities in hospitals suffer
We shall be cruel to offer care
