Crushed By Stone Poem by Slim Jim

Crushed By Stone

The screams and whispers, all go away
The silence is finally here to stay
The long nights we stayed up
And never even drank from the cup
All of those we have loved
Forgetting those we have shoved
Their never really quit enough
But the truth will always call your bluff
So here we are and all alone
With shattered hearts, like crushed stone
The lives of two, ripped apart
Like it never mattered, from the start
All this time you're waiting, and for what?
This beautiful woman, you call a slut?
She's the one you lived life for
Amazing, yes, but you refused to score
After all this time, you still want her back
But your trains have long flown off their tracks
And now you're victims have laid at rest to long
So good luck fixing what you've done wrong.
