Crystal Melodies Poem by Mark Hopwood

Crystal Melodies

Tiptoes though moonlight
What a sound within a sight
What a sunrise through the windows of time
What a clear crystal melody diluted in rhyme.
Shining in the daylight
Returning to unknown night
Like the sunset swimming in its own eyes
Like the castle gleaming through mighty skies.

See the rivers run
Stretching out to meet the sun
Splashing drops of light here, there and around
Fading in and out of every different coloured sound.
Tiptoes through moonlight
Shining in the daylight
And still the sunrise says there's still time
Whilst melodies and crystal sunsets are diluted in rhyme.
