Cultural Locusts Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Cultural Locusts

Cultural locusts.
Feeding on defeat to eat.
With collected and unchecked decisions.
Eroding their own future to be.

They are cultural locusts.
Blinded by their own fantasies.
With vision that corrodes.
And implemented by the elite.

Intoxicated cultural locusts.
Drunken by a power of need.
To have themselves a model.
Of who God is and what God is to see.

Doped.
Are these locusts.
Focusing with minds diseased.
Myopic they have been and deluded.
Believing themselves as deities.

Cultural locusts.
Feeding on defeat to eat.
And blinded by visions.
They control all humanity.
