Daddy I have just one question
Daddy if you dare
Did you even love me
Did you even care?

I remember the day you left us
I was only ten
You said 'dont worry I'll be back'
Please daddy tell me when?

I sat by my window waiting
Tears falling from my eyes
Daddy why did you leave me
We never even said our goodbyes

Soon the darkness came
Some people walked through the door
They took my hand and said to me
'Im sorry you dont have a daddy no more'

My eyes filled with tears
And they took me away
They brought me to this place
Where I still am today

I live with other children
Who are just like me
They dont have daddy's either
Or mummy's you see

Daddy I still love you
I hope you know its true
On my birthdays when I get one wish
I always wish for you
