Dance Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Dance

Dance
dance
dance with light steps
the night will only
deepen now
the night will rise
its head that be in shroud
light steps to here
light steps to there
hopes are fires
that alighted melt
the frozenness of cold
ah! dancing
breaks the cold
even the hardest snows
so
must your words, my Monsignor
