Dancing Alone In A Hotel Room Poem by Colin Wood

Dancing Alone In A Hotel Room

Wrapped in arms of mine,
Imagining I'm not alone,
In another hotel room,
Another strange room.
No friendly smiles to warm me through,
I sing a lullaby,
It breaks the deafening silence,
And move across the room in a ritualistic dance,
Spinning, twisting, turning
Trying to forget I have no one......
And nothing......
