DANE

Perfect and small, delicate and sweet
How could something so beautiful, happen to me
At the very first moment, your eyes were so blue
You were special and different
You were lovely, precious with
So much life inside of you

You laugh so loud, at what others can't see
The mind God gave to you
Is alive, full of talent, and free
I can't claim your music or even your charm
That is a part of your soul
Something that I will never own

But Even in times of doubt
In your hours of pain
You will always walk in grace
And know that 'love' is your name

You must always know that I am there
Never very far away
Because you are my child
My heart, my soul
The reason for another day

Where ever you go,
no matter how far it may be
I will be in your heart
as you are a Part of me
And you, will always be
My gift from God and a blessing
For all of the world to see
