Dark Uncertainty Poem by JOJI MATHEW

Dark Uncertainty

I know very well what to do!

The light is dark, sky is narrow
Earth is rocky hard
Water is ugly
Beauty is lost & eyes are blind
Men and women change
Friends bear no trust
Neighbors seek each other’s doom.

Life is evil in this country
You can’t see a place where people are safe
Where they don’t wreak vengeance
Where they don’t speak ill of others
This is a blood-thirsty century
Here is no certainty.
