Darkest Days Poem by Christopher Hayflinger

Darkest Days

My darkest days and coldest hours are upon my weak and weary soul.... I believe there will be sunshine when I'm gone....
Grey sky to day.....
Washed away by the rain of a million tears......
The world will rise anew....
As darkness fades to bright....
Midnight sky turns to light....
My heart turns to black and the echo's of silence fills the air...... Nevermore will my desecrated life harm any unfortunate souls encounter with me.....
My darkest days and coldest hours are upon me.......
May my transgressions be vanquished from the hearts I've hindered, Hampered, harmed and hurt.....
One day these words will be my last......
One day these words a shadow will cast......
From a headstones perch to mark my shame....
From the marker placed upon my grave...
Forever marked as a remanded soul...
To depths of hell is where ill go......
Cast down to the inferno below.....
To await my fate......
Forever to feel the devils hate.........
