A new day has dawned,
What will happen to me?
Will my eyes marvel
At all that I see?

Will my skin tingle
When you stand at my door?
Will a brush of your lips,
Want me wishing for more?

Will days spent with me,
Turn from days into weeks?
Will your wish to be with me,
Be what we both seek?

To make it all happen,
There must be a start,
For a friendship to begin,
Must be in both our hearts.

With affection and feelings,
Loyalty and Trust must be there,
Honesty and time together,
For that we must care.
