How can I forget
the songs of warblers
and wrens singing softly at dawn?
the hoarseness of hawks in the golden fields,
soaring high and disappearing
like the freezing cold of yesterday?
how they turn my emptiness
into a morning full of summer blooms.
Their dawn chorus
slowly flows like a stream
in my sleepless thoughts,
gently going straight to my heart
and bringing me rest.
And creates a sound,
a rippling echo of today's dream,
along with the rustles of evergreens
raising their branches for a toast
to the approaching hues of daybreak
having their mellifluous entrance
on the eastern horizon,
a glimpse of hope cloaking me with light.
With their wingbeats, my spirit flies.

Your poem 'Dawn Chorus' is so beautiful with so many wonderful beautiful lines, I would love to quote so many in appreciation here but there is no space, birds at dawn chorus are amazing, 'With their wingbeats, my spirit flies.'
I wrote the poems 'Delight In Break Of Dawn Silk Spun Threads Unread' and 'Eternity Echoes In Break Of Early Morn Dawn', inspired by the poem 'Dawn Chorus', by the poet Sagi Writes and dedicated to Sagi Writes.
This is an enchantingly beautifully crafted poem, it saddens me that a year has passed, and not a single new poet has come, to delight in these lines.
