Dawn Of A New World Poem by Sasanka Sekhar Panda

Dawn Of A New World

Empty words can't console
timid mind can't protest
weak hands can't fight,
sycophancy is treachery,
a sycophant can only lick
the feet of the oppressor,
spread the virus of hatred
in the length and breadth
of this serene world
where we live in.
let the noble fire burn
in our hearts
incessantly.
let all the evils
burnt down
heralding the
dawn of a new world.
