Day’s End Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Day’s End

Shadows lengthen gradually
As darkness inks and calm descends
Shades of pomegranate and carrot emit
Splendor crowns the day’s end

Drowsiness drowns acceleration
As the rays of the day submerge…
Images are activated from inner depths
Senses are captivated as dreams emerge

Hours drain away until aspiration
Wakens the mind to a splendid sight…
Truth and life are validated with a breath
Another rotation has begun with light
