Daybreak Poem by Practicing Poetess

Daybreak

Rating: 4.9

Daybreak
Wakey, wake.
Feet on the floor,
Slumber no more.

Rub the sleep from your eyes,
With the sun, time to rise
Smell the fresh coffee brew,
As the day starts anew.

What adventures await
As you exit the gate
Nature's chorus begins,
Greeting you as old friends.

All the insects and birds
Sing a song without words.
Feel the sun on your face,
As you step up your pace.
