Days End Poem by jeremy var

Days End

Another day off, another day gone by
Another day ended, in bed I lie.
Another day, and another tommorow.
Another and another, another day of sorrow.

Glancing back in time, can't change the ill past,
Wish the good memories would stay, wish they would last.
I wish I could close my eyes and go back.
But todays another day gone by, now I lay in the sack.

Just another day, again and again another day,
Just another day, are things always going to be this way?
Ending the day with my wife,
I love her so much, but yet life is still life.

So just another day, another gone.
Maybe soon things won't be wrong.
Another day gone by,
As I write, in bed I lie.
