Days Like Today Poem by Faith Elizabeth Brigham

i delight in
days like today
when we are alone
alone together
together alone

i will look
back later on
days like today and
remember the joy
of being loved

paradox is always the best way to put your thought...i once wrote a story about a family of 5 members who were called alone...i was a kid though, not a great job but the name was great.. read mine too (Report) Reply

Don't start me off Faith. I am so jealous, you will have me in tears too! I had that for so many wonderful years. 23 in all. 3 years without him, feels like that 23 sometimes. It is good to appreciate being loved for sure. We rarely do though, until we aren't anymore. Such as life. Comment longer than poem. Sorry about that. I still have the flashing glow of your poem in my eyes! Very warm 10 from Tai (Report) Reply
