Dead Flowers Poem by James Davis

Dead Flowers

They say that she loves me and flowers will bloom
but no one knows the pain that this love consumes
Loving her is easy she's beautiful and not fast and easy
Loving me is like planting flowers hard and tiresome but in the end flowers will bloom
I can put all my love into her and be there to comfort
She cant put all of her love in me because i cannot speak
I think she grows tired of waiting to love me so she goes and play in the streets
She can never tell me why but i see it in her eyes but now it seems weak
I wounder if her love is beginning to beseech for someone else in need
or does she still want me i guess im a fool for being used like a tool
but thats how it began and in the end the flowers will be dead
This sudden change will leave my world baron ed and deranged
Like a dead man i will rise again but the flowers will be dead
Lilly s, roses dandelions and my allergenic painful crying but there will be no denying when she flies me and the flowers will die
