Dead In Depression Poem by George Grogan

Dead In Depression

Rating: 4.8

fallen to the ground…
I am cold, gray and dead.
Like an ember
once amid the flames burning bright
I am thrown down
and trampled underfoot.

Strong and vivid metaphors bring stark reality into this short verse - -a well written cry against capitulation to depression....10. Fay
