Death And The Truth Of Living Poem by Larry Meyer

Death And The Truth Of Living

Rating: 2.7

Death is apart of everyone
All around in life
Tears, anger, and confusion
All add to the strife

Whether cause was noble or not
You must wish peace on the dead
They did the time expected of them
Left an impression in your head

They say when one dies before their time
That they were questioning god
For when they come to grip with truth
They found themselves were odd

To die for reason is both noble and sad
Tears will be shed for those departed
Memories will be stronger than ever
But do not feel sad-hearted

Its true, they're gone
Never coming back
But marks they left on this world
Will fill the void in the crack

Be sad, mourn, whatever you feel
But always turn and rejoice
They love you dearly
But they're death was not by choice

If you care about them
Truly loved them dearly
Then let go, move on
In your thoughts you'll see them clearly

Those who die and are not lettin go
Will forever be trapt in our world
They need those close to forgive them
So they're souls and ours are not swirled

Never hold grudges
A sick act truly indeed
For this world is too short to live angrily
These words, I hope you heed
