Death Kills Celebrities Poem by Hebert Logerie

Death Kills Celebrities

Death kills kings, queens, princesses and princes
The almighty death does not miss
Death kills who we love
Death kills who we hate
Death does not discriminate
Death kills lions, tigers, raccoons and doves
Death kills beautiful celebrities
Who have lots of friends and money
Death is nevertheless unpredictable, untimely
Death kills old people, young men and women
Toddlers, babies, presidents and laymen
Wipe our tears to face our realities
Be strong, courageous, resilient and resigned
We were born to die, we were designed
To one day or one night, to be victimized
That's why we should enjoy our days, our nights
And be the best that we can be. Tears and cries
Will not change the course. The heavens, the skies
Are empty; they are waiting. Do not mind the fights
They are patient; they're waiting. Death is waiting
Stand in line, wait for our turn, and wait for the bell
There is a time to play, a time to laugh and to wail
There is a time to meditate, and a time for everything.
