Deb! Deb! Are you there?
Please open the door. I’m here.
Let me come in, let me sit a while.
Let me tell you who am I.
I’m your soul. I am your past.
Your present and your future.
We both are one among everyone;
Never been precious like special someone.
Never have we had that spark;
Never can we deserve to be loved.
Respect and friendship we have for us.
The special feeling of love is only for some other.
Never can we make an impact.
Never have we been near perfect.
Something was lacking in both of us;
Something that he has, to win her love.
We are often admired for our nature and conduct
Praised as respectable and straightforward.
Never have we known these are only to exemplify us
To someone, showing what’s needed to make love last.
Yet, we both are on the same boat brother.
We just live and die for her and only for her.
