Deepest Desire Poem by Eshita Hatwal

Deepest Desire

Rating: 5.0

I would walk
With both my hands filled;
One with a fiery lamp,
Another with bucket of water.
For, what I want is to burn down
The glorious heaven;
And to,
Extinguish the fires of hell.
Call it my deepest desire
Or bizarre temptation.
All I want,
Is to fear no God.

A bizarre temptation indeed! An insightful piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely penned. Thanks for sharing Eshita. Please read my poem CHILDREN OF CRUEL FATE.
