Defense(Quatrain) Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Defense is just self preservation,
Why wait for the dam to break and burst?
When a foe aims for your destruction-
It is always best to hit him first.

Defense is the art of blocking attack,
In judo, it is throwing the opponent.
To remain standing, one must hit back,
Void the aggression, cease the moment.

Defense is legal, and sometimes needed.
When a country implies it wants yours gone,
If there's proof of actions intended
The only option - defense must be done.

When taunts turn to threats that peril lives
They're vexing nudges, daring you to a fight.
Silence is the only soil where terror thrives,
Respond with defense because it is right!
